Sport, Soldano (Axa): "Inclusion, solidarity, equality are the values we support"

'We work on four pillars: work, balance, equity and skills'
“The women's soccer tournament 'Girls just wanna have goals' organized by Axa is much more than a sporting event. I think it is the manifesto of values written in green on a soccer field. It talks about inclusion, solidarity, equality. All values that we support in line with our desire to impact the social role. All with the patronage of the Municipality of Rome and the support of Sport Senza Frontiere”. These are the words of Chiara Soldano, CEO of the Axa Italia insurance group, on the occasion of the Final of the women's soccer tournament 'Girls just wanna have goals', which was played at the Nando Martellini Stadium, at the Baths of Caracalla.
“We work on four pillars: work, balance, equity and skills - Soldano continues - Work is at the center of Axa Italia's agenda because it is the fundamental lever to be free and independent. Then there is balance and therefore cutting-edge parenting policies, with wellbeing services that allow you to balance work and home. For equity we have given ourselves some KPIs because we wanted to achieve gender parity also in leadership positions. Finally, skills, it is important to continue to grow, to be trained in STEM subjects and for this reason Bocconi University has also come to support us”.
Finally, the point on this first half of the year: “There are two new things in 2025. The first concerns the support of the Una Nessuna Foundation, 100,000 with an initiative that I am very proud of called “The fatigue of being average”. We went to schools to teach what is the culture of respect against violence against women. The second is that we are partners of the UEFA Women's European Football Championship 2025” she concludes.
